Matt Green
Pastor
In 2008 Matt graduated from Bible College. After completing school he took a Youth Pastor position in March 2008 in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2016, God opened the door to serve as Youth Pastor here at New Life Baptist Church in Converse, Texas. Matt married Arianne in 2004 and they now have 4 children. His hobbies are bike riding and drinking the best coffee. “Not just any cup of coffee will do.”
On January 1st 2019 Matthew Green became the Pastor of New Life Baptist Church.

Wesley Taylor
Youth Director
Bro Wesley grew up in a Christian home near Ft Worth, TX and was saved at 5 years old during one of his first children’s church services. Upon graduating High School in 2008, Wesley enlisted in the USAF and served faithfully for nearly 15 years. While in the service he was active in multiple youth ministries serving, teaching, and leading trips to camps and retreats. In 2019, God called Wesley, and his wife Kim, to New Life Baptist Church where he began serving in the youth department. In 2023, Wesley was brought on full time staff at NLBC. In his free time, you can find Wesley spending time with his wife and 3 children enjoying God’s creation, sword fighting, or armoring up for renaissance festivals.

Jennifer Schaefer

In 2006, Jennifer graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a bachelors degree in Office Administration. After graduation, she worked in the office at PCC for seven years before returning to her home state of Texas. In January of 2019, God opened the door for Jennifer to serve as church secretary here at New Life Baptist Church. She enjoys a variety of activities (both indoor and outdoor), and loves getting involved, serving, and fellowshipping!
