Pastor Green and Associate Pastor Woolery have a real understanding of Christian service. They seek to be a friend to you and your family and to be a shepherd in your times of need. Whether visiting a loved-one in the hospital, partaking in wedding ceremonies, counseling couples and families, or conducting funerals – our pastoral staff is ready to serve.

Bible Study Ministry

The Bible teaches us to study God’s Word. Pastor Green has placed a strong emphasis on studying God’s Word together in the unity of the Spirit. We invite those who seek to learn about the victorious Christian life to come and participate in one of our many preaching hours or Bible studies that meet throughout the week. Let us study the Scriptures together.

Music Ministry

We sing and worship God in Spirit through Christ-honoring “songs, hymns, and spiritual songs.” Our music involves God’s people singing and making melody in their hearts to the Lord. You will find that the choir and orchestra have opportunities for you to use your musical talents for God’s glory.

World Evangelism Ministry

God gave the church the commandment to reach the world with the Gospel starting with our very own city. For New Life Baptist that means reaching the Converse-San Antonio community and then going to the uttermost parts of the Earth with the salvation message of Jesus Christ. We actively support over 50 missionaries in countries on every continent and our people give through Faith Promise offerings to support the work of those engaged in world evangelism.

Teen’s Ministry

Our generation of teenagers faces influences and difficulties that many are not ready to handle. The Bible has the answers to all of life’s problems and challenges. Bring your teens to an environment where other Christians can encourage and uplift you and your young people. The teens’ ministry is an opportunity where teenagers can learn to be teens who are sold out for Christ.

Children’s Ministry

We say that it is the children’s ministry because God said “suffer the little ones to come unto me.” It is their ministry and their opportunity to serve God even at a young age. Our experienced and well-trained volunteer staff of teachers and workers provide children an opportunity to learn the Bible in a safe and Godly environment where faith and fun can have their place.

Nursery Ministry

The nursery ministry is a great opportunity to care for the future of our growing church. Our well-equipped nursery is staffed by trained infant workers. Parents can enjoy the services knowing that their babies and toddlers are safe and learning even now important Biblical truths.

Faith Bible Institute

Faith Bible Institute (FBI) is a Bible college course on a level for every Christian. Students will study chronologically through the entire Bible and systematically through every major doctrine. Classes meet once per week (two available times offered). FBI combines solid Bible teaching with a video format utilizing student workbooks, charts, 3D maps, and images to produce a unique and engaging learning experience. Learn More »
